For a truly memorable meal, book your table in advance to sit nearest to the open kitchen to see the creation of these masterful plates.

4 Charles Prime Rib

If you want your dining experience to feel like that of a 1940’s club scene, 4 Charles Prime Rib will do just that. With intimate lighting, leather seating, and dark wood paneling covered in classic paintings, this restaurant’s atmosphere is half the experience. Their dinner choices include prime rib steak as the name suggests, fresh seafood, chicken, and pasta. Relax at the bar with a cocktail or glass of wine and admire the restaurant’s decadence beforehand.

Flora Bar

Located in the Upper East Side, Flora Bar recently opened its doors in Fall of 2016, and has since become a local hotspot for visitors of Central Park. The lunch and dinner menus specialize in seafood with a large selection of wines and coffee. The enormous floor-to-ceiling windows create a very open feel for all customers, whether they are stopping by for an appetizer, or a casual drink at the bar.


Another French restaurant that calls Lower Manhattan its home, Augustine offers an incredibly unique menu that includes such dishes as sea urchin spaghetti, roasted bone marrow, and a stuffed trout for the truly adventurous. The elegant setting is perfect for date nights, or even private events.

Loring Place

This cozy restaurant started by chef Dan Kluger highlights the foods of farmers around the area, some of whom Kluger has known for many years. The menu has exactly what you’d expect with pleasant bursts of flavor in each bite. Grilled vegetable plates, whole wheat spaghetti, duck, and seafood are all options within the alluring restaurant, which also has several private dining areas for larger groups.
